Projects — organize work and track progress
Projects are the central organising unit in Corvan. Tasks, documents, decisions, contacts, meetings, and time entries all attach to projects — so everything about a piece of work lives in one place.
Creating a project
Click + New project at the top of the Projects screen, give it a name, and you are set. You can add a description, status, deadline, and budget later from the project page.
Or ask the assistant:
- "Create a project for the Q3 launch."
- "Start a new project called Website Redesign."
What you can do inside a project
Each project has six tabs:
- Overview — recent activity, key decisions, and time logged.
- Tasks — all tasks for this project, with a kanban view and drag-to-reorder.
- Docs — files and documents attached to the project.
- People — contacts linked to this project.
- Timeline — a chronological record of everything that happened.
- Decisions — logged decisions with full history.
Milestones
Add milestones to mark key checkpoints — name, due date, and a status (planned, in progress, done, or cancelled). They appear in the overview and factor into the project health score.
Project health
The assistant calculates a health score based on your tasks and milestones — how many are on time, how many are overdue, how much is in progress. Ask for an explanation:
- "How is the launch project doing?"
- "Explain the health of the redesign project."
Asking about projects
- "Show my active projects."
- "What's the status of the Q3 launch?"
- "Who is on the Website Redesign project?"
- "Create a project for the new campaign."
- "What tasks are open on the supplier project?"
