Connect WhatsApp and Google
Corvan becomes much more useful once you connect your communication channels. With WhatsApp connected, incoming messages show up in your inbox and the assistant can draft replies. With Google connected, your calendar and Gmail flow into the platform and the assistant can schedule, reschedule, and respond on your behalf.
Connect WhatsApp
WhatsApp is connected by scanning a QR code — the same way you pair any WhatsApp Web session.
- Open Settings → Connections → WhatsApp.
- Click Connect WhatsApp.
- A QR code appears on screen.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp → tap the three-dot menu (Android) or Settings (iPhone) → Linked devices → Link a device.
- Point your phone camera at the QR code.
- WhatsApp connects in a few seconds. You will see a green status indicator.
Once connected, your WhatsApp messages appear in the Inbox and the assistant can read and respond to them.
Reconnecting: if the QR code expires or the connection drops, come back to Settings → Connections → WhatsApp and scan again.
Connect Google (Calendar and Gmail)
Connecting Google links both your calendar and your Gmail in one step.
- Open Settings → Connections → Google.
- Click Connect Google account.
- You will be redirected to a Google sign-in page. Choose the account you use for work.
- Review the requested permissions (read and write access to Calendar and Gmail) and click Allow.
- You will be returned to Corvan. Your calendar events will appear in Schedule within a minute.
Once connected:
- Calendar events from Google show up on your Corvan schedule.
- The assistant can create, update, and cancel events that sync back to Google.
- Emails from Gmail appear in your inbox alongside other messages.
- The assistant can draft and send replies from your Gmail address.
Disconnecting: go to Settings → Connections → Google → Disconnect. This removes Corvan's access without affecting your Google account.
