Terms of Service
Effective date: 2 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of Corvan. They are a working draft pending final legal review; they nonetheless reflect how the service operates today.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Corvan ("Corvan", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Corvan service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Corvan is an AI chief-of-staff assistant that connects to tools you authorise (such as email, calendar, and messengers) to triage communications, maintain contact dossiers, prepare for meetings, and draft replies. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Some features depend on third-party providers and are subject to their availability.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Access may be invite-only or otherwise restricted at our discretion. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Corvan.
4. Subscriptions, trials & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change pricing on prospective notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; no attempts to breach security, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service; no use that violates the rights of others or the terms of connected third-party providers. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Your data & content
You retain ownership of the content you connect, import, or create. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate and improve the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data and delete your account at any time using the in-product controls.
7. AI output disclaimer
Corvan uses large-language models that can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected output. AI-generated summaries, drafts, and suggestions are aids, not professional advice, and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you rely on or send it. Corvan does not guarantee the accuracy of AI output.
8. Third-party services
The service integrates with third-party providers (including the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy and any tools you connect). Your use of those services is also governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or availability.
9. Warranties & liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Corvan is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling on termination follows the retention section of the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms as the service evolves; we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Questions: peter@corvanai.com.
